Following on from 2007′s Five Days, the second outing of the 5 episode drama series shown over one week was shown in 2010 on BBC1. A tiny newborn baby is abandoned in the toilets of a Yorkshire hospital. At the same time, the Trans-Pennine commuter train is halted by a suicidal jumper – are they connected.
David played DI Mal Craig, a newly divorced and estranged father of one who finds himself on the same investigation team as Laurie Franklin (Suranne James). As romantic sparks begin to fly at work, he battles to see his son Luke at home. But does his son have a significance part to play in the investigation of the railway accident?
